BrightRig Logistics is a crane hire and rigging company based in Cape Town, operating across South Africa. We provide mobile cranes from 5 to 500 tons, industrial rigging services, machine moving, and factory relocations.

BrightRig Logistics was founded in 2025 with a clear mission: to bring easier, more reliable turn-key solutions to South Africa’s rigging and transport industry. We saw the need for a service that not only delivered technical excellence, but also offered clients a truly worry-free experience. Built on a foundation of safety, precision, and planning, BrightRig Logistics specializes in machine moving, heavy lifting, and complex equipment relocation. Our approach blends deep technical expertise with strategic project coordination to ensure every move is executed efficiently, safely, and with minimal disruption to your operations.

What we do

Our work falls into three categories — and most of our clients use all three:

• Machine moving — relocating heavy equipment between sites, between cities, or across your factory floor. We handle disconnection, rigging, transport, and installation at the other end.

How we work

Every BrightRig project follows the same structured approach, whether it's a single rooftop HVAC lift or a six-week factory relocation:

1. You tell us about the job. What you're moving, how much it weighs, how high it goes, where the site is. Phone, email, or our online form.
2. We recommend the right solution and quote a price. No ballpark figures. No "depending on conditions." You get a number, and that number doesn't change.
3. Site assessment. For complex lifts, we visit the site to check ground conditions, access routes, overhead obstructions, and crane standing positions. Free of charge.
4. Lift plan. We prepare a rigging method statement: load weight, rigging configuration, crane position, exclusion zones, emergency procedures. This is your compliance record under the OHS Act.
5. Execution. Our certified crew arrives, sets up, and completes the lift. You get documentation for your safety file.

Safety isn't a section of our website — it's how we plan and execute every lift. Here's what that looks like in practice:

• Certified operators and riggers — every crew member holds valid certification under the Driven Machinery Regulations. No exceptions.
• Engineered lift plans — documented method statements for every project, compliant with the OHS Act. Prepared before the crane leaves the yard.
• Equipment inspection — cranes, slings, shackles, and all rigging equipment inspected before every deployment. Certificates available for your safety file.
• Safety briefings — pre-lift safety briefing on every job. Exclusion zones marked. Communication protocols confirmed. No lift proceeds until the lead rigger signs off.
• Full documentation — after every project, you receive completed lift records, crane certificates, and rigger qualifications. Ready for auditors.
